FOXGROUND
Foxground NSW | Wodi Wodi (Tharawal)
2009
An undulating south coast hillside. An active leeward sunny side. Natural surface run off passing underneath. The house forms a simple arrowhead to address cross fall and dramatic outlook on the diagonals. Planning is compact for winter retreat.
“On a hillside at Foxground, architect and client were united in their desire to create a building that captures the essence of its natural setting.”

“The success of the beautifully resolved design is inherently linked to the opportunity to control the skin, or edges, and therefore regulate the internal climate in a passive way. Taking in the sights and sounds, this house is the idyllic retreat the owners desire.”
